Damaged Items

PMB are able to undertaken repairs to all types of jewellery whether this is damage to an actual item or the loss of a gem stone from an item of jewellery.

Below are two examples of rings that have been repaired. The first is a ring that was damaged due to being driven over by a car. The upper photographs show the ring to have been badly worn which has occurred over a period of time and the damage sustained as a result of the incident. The client was informed locally that the ring could not be repaired however following our involvement and subsequent discussions with the insured the ring was re-made to its original condition as shown the lower photographs. The insured commented that her ring which was over fifty years old once repatriated to her looked as new and took her back in time.

Lost Diamond

The example below is a ring where the insured had lost one of the outer diamonds and its setting as a result of an impact. As the ring still had one of the outer diamonds it was a straight forward process to provide a matching diamond of the equivalent quality characteristics. The images below also show the full repair process where a matching setting was hand made to match the existing setting and the new diamond re set.
